Spur Afrika is a non-organization that joins communities across the world who work to provide access to education, health and life skills for children and youth living in the Kibera slums.
Rafiki Bank partnered with this organization for their end year activity dubbed the ‘Christmas bucket’ on 29th November 2019.
Staff members enjoyed the day with 90 children supported by this organization and provided each with a Christmas hamper which had a bale of maize flour, a bale of wheat flour, a kilogram of sugar, a kilogram of beans, bar soap, cooking oil, and a kilogram of rice.
The day was marked by interactions and fun activities with the children which included motivational talks from Rafiki Bank staff and a dancing competition. This went a long way in motivating them along the lines of mentor-ship and imparting of life motivation.
